Going the Extra Mile with Speaking Services
Alan Patching offers a service which begins prior to appointment and continues until the dust has settled on an event. We know of no other who offers such a complete service. He has assisted many clients prepare and analyse formal and anonymous surveys of conference delegates prior to events, and he has conducted follow up delegate surveys and in some instances, mentoring and coaching for some clients after events.
While he does have a range of pre-prepared presentations, he is also renowned for is tailoring of presentations to sit the needs of specific clients.
With so many speakers for a client to choose from these days, it's sometimes difficult to discern between hype and ability. If you are having Alan present at your event, but still have doubts after speaking with your preferred bureau, he would be happy to prepare an audio recording outlining the material he might present for you. Simply send us some simple briefing notes, or give us a quick call, via your preferred bureau (we prefer to work through bureaux) and by an agreed time very soon after, you will receive a studio recorded and professionally produced CD covering the items he would cover in his address for your audience. You pay nothing for this at the time, by the way. However, Alan can prepare the material in such a way that the CD can later be refined, and reproduced and given as a gift to conference delegates to assist with post-event learning retention. If you book Alan as a speaker, and choose to distribute the CD, a small fee applies to cover his refinement and final production costs and incidentals. If you do not book him but would like to distribute the CD as a value-add for your conference, he will come to an arrangement for this. However, if you don't require the initial recording to be refined and produced as a CD for distribution to your delegates, there will be no cost to you for its production whether or not you choose to book Alan for you event. By the way, you can rest assured the integrity of your relationship with any bureau with which you may be working will be respected, even if you do contact us direct to avail yourself of this service.
If you'd prefer to see what Alan has to say rather than just hear his ideas for your conference, no problems, just get that briefing to him and he will send you his presentation thoughts on broadcast quality digital video tape. Again, there is no cost to the client for this service.
We simply know of no other speaker who so actively works to remove from PCOs and clients any risk associated with speaker appointment, and in fact can turn what is usually a pain-in-the-neck task into an event value-add.
