Alan Patching is husband to Annie and father to four children.
Alan is a much sought-after international speaker. From social, dinner and sales functions to conferences for senior executives of major corporations, he has entertained, inspired, challenged and informed audiences for many years. He was once rated in a major newspaper survey in the top 10 speakers in Australia and has represented Australia in professional presenting.
Alan Patching, is an unusual mix of entertainment and credibility. He was the Chief Executive Officer of the organisation that owns Sydney's Olympic Stadium, and was the owner's Project Director, responsible for overseeing design, construction and operations of the largest Olympic stadium ever. He negotiated his country's largest ever property transaction ($1.2 billion) and has managed projects worth over $8 billion. Alan is currently Executive Chairman of the Asia-Pacific operations of Washington DC based Management Concepts, which partners with the Regis University to provide management and leadership programs to the corporate world. It may surprise you to learn that a man with this business pedigree also studied humour at theatre school and has even performed at stand up comedy clubs.
Alan is the author of several books and audio albums, some in co-authorship with world renowned human behavior expert, Dr Denis Waitley of the United States. Alan credits his interest in human behavior as the key to any success he has experienced in both business and personal life.
He is also a former army officer, a jet endorsed private pilot and an experienced kayaking ultra-marathoner.
