Fees generally

Because Alan Patching presents in such a large number of locations and for widely varying styles of events and conferences, as well as for on location sessions for businesses in a number of countries, our policy is to notify the bureaux we deal with of our current fee schedule applicable in their area of operation from time to time.

Due to his usually heavy travel schedule, we do offer one relaxation from our rigid no discounting policy regarding fees, and that is for presentations at any of the venues on the Gold Coast, which is where we live. Alan says any presentation that doesn't involve his catching yet another flight must surely warrant a discount.

Terms

Dates placed on hold will be kept on hold for you subject to the following:

Unless expressly extended, the hold will lapse after a period of three weeks of the hold placement
If another client who is willing to confirm the date requests the date, the party for which the date is being held will be given 24 hours to confirm the booking. They will then be given a further 3 working days to make the deposit as detailed later herein
If the booking is not confirmed or the deposit made within the time periods stated above, the date will be made available to the other client

A booking is not considered confirmed until a deposit of 50% of the agreed fee has been received by the bureau. The remainder of the fee must be paid prior to the date of Alan's departure for the presentation.

Where a bureau is involved with the booking, the usual terms of payment of the bureau will be acceptable to us.
