Alan Patching and Associates Pty Ltd - Travel and Accommodation Policy
Flights
We request business class travel on domestic flights within Australia and single sector day time flights internationally.
We request first class travel on all international flights of:
- more than one sector, regardless of sector scheduled flight times
- more than 9 hours scheduled flight time for a single sector
- all overnight international flights
Whenever two or more clients are being serviced at one location, the travel costs will be pro-rated between all clients. However, where clients receive the benefit of a reduced airfare cost from this arrangement, we request that the flight status be upgraded to first class, except where so doing would result in a greater pro-rated cost than that which would apply if following the formula above for a single client booking.
Our policy is to arrange all of Alan's travel and to bill clients unless other arrangements are made direct (or via bureaux) with Alan or Annie Patching.
Please note that for certain Australian based events within one and a half hours flight time from our base on the Gold Coast, and depending on the time duration between flight arrival and scheduled presentation time, Alan may be prepared to travel economy class out of the Gold Coast.
The reason is the Gold Coast is heavily serviced with low cost flights which pay little respect to carry on suit packs, and generally, Alan needs to travel business class out of Brisbane if presenting on the day he is scheduled to arrive. If garment pressing is available between arrival and presentation time at the booked accommodation place, he is prepared to travel on the Gold Coast tourist flights on some occasion.
Such flight arrangements must be pre agreed on an event by event basis.
Accommodation and meals
We request non-shared accommodation in 4 or 5 star hotels in reasonable proximity to the event venue.
We request a reasonable allowance for meals.
Alan Patching does not usually attend functions prior to presenting as he is an avid and dedicated preparer prior to events. However, he is willing to attend post presentation functions at your event to afford delegates the opportunity of one on one discussion if you desire, and if this is arranged directly with him or Annie Patching at the time of booking.
For extended duration events, Alan Patching requests to be booked into accommodation with reasonable gymnasium/health club facilities.
