Mind Matters
The new, exciting and revolutionary new performance enhancing program no executive or senior manager can afford to miss
Let's face it, the goal of business is profit. But profit simply doesn't come without the input of people. People will always be the soul of business.
Higher profits flow from higher people performance, yet the most efficient ways of improving performance are often overlooked in favour of increasing technical training.
People perform better when they are contributing to something they are passionate about; something in which they see purpose and meaning. They also perform better when they have the ability to access more of the potential and resources of their minds.
The Mind Matters Program is designed to spark latent passion in people, to make them aware of the huge untapped resources of their own brain power, and to give them some simple and proven keys to accessing and applying these resources.
The Mind Matters Program is practical and seeks to assist your people to clear barriers to:
- Higher levels of creative problem solving
- More effective commercial and personal negotiations
- More effective decision making
- Enhanced performance under pressure
- Habit management and higher levels of performance in any field of endeavour
- Increased levels of retention of material learned at conferences and seminars etc
- Enhanced relationships building and conflict management
In other words, the Mind Matters Program sees to spark or rekindle passion in people and to give them access to the mind resources that can lead to higher levels of performance, and profit.
The program can even include tips on the mind game of golf, or any other sport for that matter!
The Mind Matters Program isn't the first mind power program, and it may not be the last. There is a very real possibility it's the best, especially for business.
The reason is the credibility of its creators.
Dr. Gerry Flynn graduated in Medicine from Edinburgh University in Scotland in 1982. He passed the examinations to become a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 1985 and was elected a Fellow in 1999. He also has formal qualifications in mind-body medicine. He works as a physician in general and cardiac practices on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia where until recently he also managed a successful weight loss program targeted at reducing risk of heart disease, diabetes and stroke. He has counseled numerous executives from a wide variety of fields in the application of mind science in enhancing performance.
Dr. Flynn has presented his research at international medical conferences in Japan, Sydney and Brisbane, and has written and produced several audio programs addressing the topic of mind power in success determination as well as in management of medical problems.
Dr. Flynn is married and is father of three. A former member of the Scottish national water polo team (for 6 years) he still plays the sport regularly on the Gold Coast where he also coaches representative school teams.
Alan Patching is one of Australia's most sought after international business presenters and has represented Australia at a major international professional speaking symposium. Probably best known for his former roles as CEO and Project Director of the owning entity of Sydney's Olympic Stadium, he is currently Executive Chairman of the Asia Pacific operations of substantial USA-based corporate training company, Management Concepts. He is also Adjunct Professor in the Project Management Department of University of Technology Sydney.
Patching has negotiated over 2 billion dollars of major property transactions and several billion dollars of major construction and property development contracts. Some of his transactions remain records in the Australian market.
A member of several professional institutions and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveying and The Australian Institute of Management, Professor Patching has also written business related books and audio albums, including The Futureproof Corporation and 21st Century Leadership in co-authorship with internationally respected psychologist, speaker and author, Dr. Denis Waitley of the USA.
Alan Patching, a former kayaking ultra marathoner who still paddles and cycles regularly, is father of 4 children and lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia with his wife and two daughters.
Dr. Gerry Flynn has an impeccable pedigree in his field of Medicine and has long been interested in the application of mind power knowledge to (and also the impact of healthy diet and lifestyle on) increasing corporate performance and profitability, but did not have the extensive business experience to attract corporate clients. Alan Patching credits his business success on his long time personal but informal study of human behaviour. Was there ever a better combination of credibility and experience to bring the Mind Matters Program to the corporate world?
The Mind Matters Program can be delivered in various formats, and will always be tailored to meet the needs of each client. In keynote format, it requires a minimum of 60 minutes and can extend to 2 hours, and content delivered is selected from that available based on specific client needs. In interactive workshop format, it can be formatted to suit times of from 3 hours to a full day. Combined with other leadership and health related material, we are pleased to offer a two day life and leadership audit and adjustment seminar. While this seminar is always founded on fundamental modules of The Mind Matters Program and health and personal leadership material, we always mix the content to specifically suit client needs and will present a full seminar content outline after consultation. Mind Matters has even been booked in London as a five day corporate seminar.
